Rev. Brittany Richardson Watson

Brittany Richardson Watson has been serving United Methodist churches in Arkansas since 2009. A Little Rock native, Brittany brings a passion for sharing God’s love and justice with this amazing community. She attended college at Lake Forest College in Lake Forest, Illinois followed by seminary at Garrett Evangelical Theological Seminary in Evanston, Illinois. These midwestern years taught her to love the Green Bay Packers and reminded her of how much she loved her home state of Arkansas.

Brittany has a passion for ministry with kids, youth and families. This has manifested in all of her ministry roles, but most directly as she served as Pastor to Kids, Youth, and Families at First United Methodist Church of Downtown Little Rock. She has been able to share this passion as the Age Level Discipleship Coordinator for the Arkansas Conference of The United Methodist Church, she has the chance to encourage, equip, and resource adults who disciple kids and youth. She is entering her second year in this role and is looking forward to discovering the ways that God will work through both roles.

Brittany is married to Clark, a doctor at a local hospital, and together they have three boys, Joseph, Leo, and George. The boys love sports, video games, and tolerate school. As a family they love to travel and are always looking for their next adventure. Brittany loves learning which includes collecting new hobbies. She currently uses her extra time to play tennis, throw pottery, and spruce up her home.
