Join a Small Group!

  • The vision of UWF is “We believe love in action can change the world." As the largest denominational women's group in the country, UWF has been around since 1869, begun by eight women who wanted to make life better for women and children in India.

The United Women in Faith Unit at Pinnacle View UMC is sharing in that vision.  Pledges support projects worldwide as well as right here at home. A special mission supports women served by the EmPowerment Center on 12th St in Little Rock, which is affiliated with Theressa Hoover Memorial UMC. Women entering a drug treatment program often come with nothing but the clothes on their backs. UWF delivers toiletries each month in handmade totes.

Programs at monthly gatherings center on faith, action, justice, soul care, and sisterhood. Come join your sisters in faith.  Learn more here!

  • A variety of teachers, some experts, or the pastor offer short-term courses or classes using books that focus on topics of interest, like loss, doubt, the problem of suffering, or Christian teaching, biblical studies, or other literature that lends itself to spiritual growth. In-person or on zoom.

  • As Needed

A team is responsible for planning and setting up community meals, from potlucks to sit-down dinners. They take care of set-up, inventory and supplies, decorations, and clean up.

  • Recently formed, the Green Team of PVUMC works on recycling, reducing the use of plastics, reducing energy consumption (retrofitted our lights to LED), and explores how to maximize our care for the earth, including creation justice and advocacy. For more information and how to advocate, visit https://umcreationjustice.org/.
